BLUF // Bottom Line up Front
One of the hardest pills to swallow is the one that changes your viewpoint. The brainwashing on both sides of the political spectrum has gotten so bad that the moderate voter (the only sane voice left in the room) is being pushed out of the conversation. And when that voice dares to speak up, it's silenced out of fear of getting burned by the mobs.
This so-called "No Kings" protest being hyped by the media and boosted by algorithms is bound to be a dumpster fire – literally and figuratively. Bad-faith actors (black-clad, mask-wearing "antifa" anarchists) will absolutely show up to stir chaos, erasing any chance for genuine peaceful protest. It's the same tired cycle of destruction that always seems to flare up when Trump's in office.
Gaslighting
The gaslighting is everywhere. From Jimmy Kimmel's idiotic claim that "Antifa isn't real" to celebrities and media outlets blindly echoing it. Meanwhile, cities burn.
How are we letting this happen? There's a revolution brewing right before our eyes, and somehow nobody seems to notice. Except me.
While people keep fighting online, our own members of Congress have devolved into middle-school name-calling. This isn't a left or right problem, it's a both-sides problem. We started electing the worse possible representatives – and then we refuse to hold our own party accountable, and we're stuck in the same loop of bullshit every four to eight years.
Get your heads out of your asses, America.
You've got us looking weak, divided, and ridiculous. Not that I honestly care about 'how we look' to other countries, it's still embarrassing all the same.
Oxymorons of the Left
- "Peaceful protest" – while the block burns
- "Tolerant Left" – only if you think exactly the same
- "Antifa means anti-fascist" – using fascist tactics to silence opponents
- "Free speech zones" – as if the entire country isn't one
- "Defund the police" – but also disarm citizens
- "Nobody needs an assault rifle" – except the government you don't trust
Oxymorons of the Right
- "Small-government Patriot Act" – while spying on citizens
- "Family values politicians" – voting for admitted sexual predators
- "Support the troops" – but forget the veterans
- "America First" – Israel before that
- "Constitutional Conservative" – when it's constitutionally convenient
- "Drain the swamp" – then fill it with new creatures from the same lagoon
Neither side gives a damn about you or me. But some of y'all keep fighting like your loyalty's going to earn you special privileges.
What the hell is wrong with you?
The Real Enemy Isn't Each Other
In the end, both sides are guilty of the same sin – preaching virtue while practicing hypocrisy. The Left wraps control in compassion; the Right hides corruption behind the flag. But the real enemy isn't your neighbor across the aisle, it's the machine that keeps us fighting while it cashes in. America doesn't need more partisans; it needs more patriots willing to call out the lies on both sides. Because if we don't stop laughing at the other team's oxymorons long enough to fix our own, we're not saving the country – we're helping bury it.
Did I hit a nerve? Good. Share it, talk about it, and tag someone who still believes their side is spotless.
